Magnetic ring for 50ml tubes with additional stand as an alternative to magnetic racks. A small but powerful neodymium (N52) magnet inside the ring catches the magnetic beads. To precipitate all the magnetic beads in a 50 ml tube, it is necessary to perform the capture phase on a roller mixer for approximately 15 to 30 minutes. As the tube with the magnetic ring is still mobile, the supernatant can be easily decanted with the magnetic beads still captured.
